Universal RPM counter RY3

The RY-3 rpm counter is a device suitable for use in both light and heavy-duty vehicles, the function of which is the engine speed and temperature detectionalso works as a scantool.

Thanks to its interface, it can detect data in three different ways: via the induction clamp and piezoelectric sensors, via microphone and battery signal residue or directly from the OBD socket (for vehicles equipped with such a protocol). In case the engine speed and temperature detection is performed through the latter mode, the instrument allows the test to be performed without opening the engine hood, as it can be connected and detect the data through the EOBD protocol.

The Ryme Worldwide RY3 can also be used in scantool mode; connected to the EOBD socket, it works as a parameter reader designed for this standard, as required by the new emission control procedures. It supports the EOBD protocols: ISO9141, KW2000, PWM, VPW, CAN BUS and the most recent WWH-OBD.
